 Plus Points:

  • Nithiin
  • Raashi Khanna
  • BGM
  • Emotional scenes
  • Dialogues

 Minus Points:

  • Lack of youth elements

Performance: Nithiin emerges as a mature actor with this film. There are so many emotional scenes and he carried them all with excellent conviction.  This is the best character for Raashi Khanna in Telugu films. She looks cute. The film has huge ensemble cast. Poonam Kaur plays Sri’s elder sister role whereas Nandita Sweta plays Vasu’s Sister-in-law. Prakash Raju perform the role of father with ease. Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Jaysudha, Praveen, Satyam Rajesh and Vidyullekha Raman , Sitara and others perform accordingly.

Technical:  The story of Srinivasa Kalyanam is simple and predictable. Mickey J Meyer has come out of his comfort zone to give beautiful and fresh music for the film. All other songs are fresh. The Cinematography is elegant and is more like fine art photography. Art direction is very good (especially selection of locations). Dialogues are natural and have depth in them. Editing is good. Production values are good.

Analysis: Vegesna Satish and Dil Raju who are best known for good movies with family values , came up with Srinivasa Kalyanam, which is based on the theme of  traditional marriages, to impress the audiences. Srinivasa Kalyanam talks about how extended family relations could make a difference in our lives in present materialistic world. On a whole, Srinivasa Kalyanam is a nice attempt .
