- Production value
Performance: This is the first time, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is playing a cop in his film. His performance skills, powerful dialogues and intense action are impressive. He plays the typical mass hero role. It is Bellamkonda’s personality and charisma that holds together the movie. Harish Uttam gives his best for the role. Kajal Aggarwal and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada grab the attention of audiences with their glamour. Kalyani Natarajan has a decent screen presence. Neil Nitin Mukesh is good. Ajay, Shravan, Satyam Rajesh and the rest of the cast also made their presence felt.
Technical: Though the story of Kavacham is not refreshing but the director made it very interesting. The production values by Vamsadhara Creations are top notch. The producers have invested huge amounts in the movie. The BGM by SS Thaman is good. The editing could have been more much better. The runtime is crisp. The cinematography by Chota K Naidu is neat. Art work is also decent.
Analysis: Sreenivas Mamilla has come up with an amazing story with few interesting twists. The first half is decent and second half is all about Bellamkonda ‘s search for solving the mystery. Interval bang and Climax have been handled quite well. Overall, ‘Kavacham’ is an interesting cop based thriller drama.
