After Arjun Reddy and RX 100, one more hard hitting romantic drama 24 Kisses has arrived at the theaters today. Adith Arun and Hebah Patel are playing the lead roles. The recently released trailers and teasers have grabbed several eyeballs because of intimate scenes. Let’s see the story of 24 Kisses.
Story: Anand (Adith Arun) is a children’s film maker, he meets Sri Lakshmi (Hebah Patel), a filmmaking student. They starts to like each other but because of Anand’s rebellious nature and commitment phobia, Sri Lakshmi decides to leave him. Rest of the story is as to how Anand changes his thought and impresses Sri Lakshmi again.
- Aimless direction
- Adult stuff
- Illogical scenes
Performance: Adith Arun performed well. He came with powerful expressions and his body language is good. However he needs to work hard to show variations in his expressions. Hebah Patel attracted with her looks and expressions. The chemistry between the lead pair is decent. Rao Ramesh as psychologist provided some laughs. Others performed according to their roles.
Technical: The cinematographer captured the locations in a natural and realistic manner. He has shown his mark in key sequences. Production values are good. However for all his efforts he failed in his execution on screen. Narration turned out to be slow and he failed to come with a gripping screenplay and interesting direction. Editing is completely bad.
Analysis: All in all, “24 Kisses” is a film that has different concept and interesting storyline but dull narration and mediocre sequences have killed it. Heroine keeps searching the meaning of kisses on various body parts. She writes the meaning on a piece of paper and ties the paper to a Rose bud, looks silly.
