Performance: Akshay Kumar’s presence in 2.0 movie is one of the major highlights of the film. He has delivered fantastic performance in flashback scenes Though he is a villain, but he turns antagonist for a good reason. Rajinikanth’s style and Charisma again win the hearts of his fans. Amy Jackson is a humanoid and did not get much screen space. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.
Technical: The technical brilliance top notch. The whole bird sequence is pulled off in a brilliant way. AR Rahman’s background music is one of the plus points of this film. Nirav Shah‘s cinematography is good. Being a 3D film, it is a tough task to shoot it. But his work seems effortless as the cinematography is appealing. Resul Pookutty‘s 4D SRL sound design is awestruck. Number of Hollywood technicians worked for 2.0 especially in Art, Sound and special effects departments. The SRL 4D sound is a big boon to 2.0 movie. The introduction of another character of Rajinikanth in the climax of 2,0 is extremely interesting.
Analysis: While 1st half drives directly to storyline concept with a good Interval-Bang, 2nd half runs in VISUAL treat ( especially last 30 minutes). The grandeur in making and suspense factor keep the interest alive. World-class VFX and 3D. 2.0 is a must watch.
